Appointments

When you come to your appointment

Before arranging your appointment we will have received a letter of referral (required) from your GP or physiotherapist along with any imaging that has already been taken. We will discuss with you any other documentation that will be required at the consultation e.g. previous radiology reports/specialist reports/ACC documentation/medical information, and will help you obtain these or may be able to obtain them for you.

We will also have sent you a health questionnaire to complete and send in prior to your appointment. Your completed file will be triaged and in some cases further radiology or blood tests will be requested prior to your consultation. Therefore when you attend we will be ready, and you will not need to bring anything with you. However please feel free to bring a note of any questions you have, so that we can cover all of your queries.

Your time is valuable

We make every effort to run on time. Occasionally emergencies or patients require a little more time, and these cause scheduling delays beyond our control. We apologise if we keep you waiting.

If you need to cancel

Please telephone the office during business hours and allow at least 3 day’s notice so that we can offer your appointment time to patients on our waiting list.
